I have a pair of Wiley-X perscription sunnglasses. The rubber is coming unglued do to persperation and heat(?). So I bought another pair called Brick. I don't like them as much as the older XL-1. Want to go back, but I want to re-glue the rubber around the inner frame. My question is, what do you suggest I use. I don't want the wrong type that might cause fumes that will irritate my eyes like sunscreen will do.
I tried contacting Wiley-X a couple times and left messages, but I guess they are a bunch of "Potty mouth"heads since they don't return any of my calls. This will be the last time I will buy a Wiley-X product. So here I am at the most informative forum on the web for, I am sure, will be some great answers.

Gary, I had the same problem. I used Loctite pure cyanoacrylate glue, which is basically an industrial version of Krazy Glue, but with less solvents, and it's safe for foams. You can also use Miracle Glue, which is similar and less $$ than the Loctite.
I glued mine 2 years ago. No more problems, and I didn't notice any fumes or irritation, but I didn't wear them for a couple of days after the fix. Make sure you give the glue plenty of time to cure.
Good luck, Garry

I love the glasses, but their customer service is "Potty mouth". No response to any of my e-mails. Like I said, I won't be buying from them anymore. And I will do my best to keep others from doing buisness with them also. Like my dad use to say "Don't get mad, get even".

Moose, how did you get them to respond to you?

I gave them a call and got the nicest person on the phone. they were very responsive gave me an RMA number and I sent them in the other day.

This is the 2nd time I've had dealings with them with no problems. One time one of the lenses fell out and they sent me one no charge even thought I told them It may not have been pushed in far enough by me.

OK, I'll try calling them and see what happens----they must not know how to respond to e-mails. DUH

Thanks
