I got a new Pingle fuel valve and decided to slap on a new fuel line just for the heck of it, I looked in my parts book and it should a fitted fuel line (makes some curves under the tank etc) so i stopped in to pick one up.  $51 for the thing.  I just reused my old one LOL.

51, LOL. What a ripoff huh? I had to buy a little 1' hose for a Jetta last month. 49 my price.

Now I'll never be able to retire.

I buy regular straight fuel hose at the local autoparts store.  Then I pickup a spring at Ace Hardware that will just barely fit inside the hose.  I push the spring inside the hose anywhere it needs to make a sharp bend.  The spring will allow the hose to bend sharply without getting a kink.  The spring is not big enough to restrict flow.  Works really well.

You can see I've got some pretty sharp bends in the fuel hose on my Panhead.
