I used a 2001 parts book to order a MAP sensor, part #32316-99 and what I received is part #32416-10.
Is this part going to work for me?
It's a sensor for a carbed bike.

I bought the -99 version 2 weeks ago.  It was hard to find, I was told it has now been superseeded by the -10 number and that had not been released yet (within the month they told me).

Since it is superseeding the -99 version, then yes it will work.  Does it look similiar to your old Map Sensor?

I don't have an old sensor because I'm converting a MM fuel injection to a carb. But it looks like the picture (drawing) in the parts book.

Go here: http://harleytechtalk.com/htt/index.php/topic,11174.0.html and look for the PAB950 file a few down for the map sensor part number update information.
