I just got my T-Man stage 3 heads back from T-Man. He modified the combustion chamber for the SE 113" pistons , I have always had great results with his work. I'm going to use his 662-1 cams with 11:1 compression. Anybody got any feedback on these cams with this compression?

Careful fitting the intake on.. Looks nice. You should like those cam's. Once of my friends runs them a little lighter on compression than you, but his was set up for strickly touring.

Built a 10.8-1 95" going on 2 1/2 years back used the 662-1 makes 115hp 112tq and now runs just as good as it did when it was built with 14000 miles on it now . If it were me I'd have used the 662-2 with that CR.  never the less you will be very satisfied....xzo

   to T-man. The heads look great.
  Is that compression
going to be too much for pump gas ?

Saw that.Think they are gonna pop off early?

Interesting combo....I currently run the TMan 590G in my 113", and Baisley heads.  I was wondering about switching to the 662-2, but it would require more head work.  I could send my heads back to Dan, for about $1400, or just swap to a set of TMan Stage IV heads instead.  OR, just leave the damn thing alone and ride it.

Do you have any flow numbers on the heads?

I do believe he has them posted on his website. I ran these same heads on my 103" build with 590 cams and made big power for a 103".

Just what I was thinking Dan. Quite a bit of decking going on there.

I flowed a set of Tman 1.940" heads and was not impressed with the numbers. HOWEVER...the ports were incredibly quiet and smooth with absolutely NO turbulence. When I said in another thread that it's not always how much a head flows but how it flows what it does, these heads were a perfect example. On a 103" with a TR590 and 45 mikuni it went 118/126tq SAE. Tman's stuff is truly top notch.
Speed costs money. How fast do you want to spend?

All good points and really the motor will only demand so much. So the heads have to carry that, that's it. If we start talking ram pulse and very high VEs that is all fantasy IMHO. Our higher VEs come from the better of the exhaust systems and ports on the outlet side that assist.
So the guys that hang their hats on flow bench "peak" numbers may not be the ones making the best power. Here is case and point. Easy to take what I am saying as me being an advocate of "poor flowing heads". Not so. I look more closely at average numbers and the sound and gauge stability, probably what you are eluding to.

Dave from JD,s cycleworks in Bethlam PA runs that Cam in a 120 i beleive the compression is at 10.5.
He has Baisley Pro street heads , domed pistons, max flow hpi t/b ,662-1 cam and loves it, rode all the way from PA to daytona with it and no problems. and its in a Road King with a tour pack.
