Looking for opinions on Cyclesmiths Banana boards from anyone that has any experience with them. I am considering a pair but am looking for how comfortable they are, hard to get to the kick stand, vibration etc? My left knee hurts me any more after several miles and am looking to stretch out more (I do have pegs on the crash bars now). Like the look of the banana boards. Also, they come in 19" & 21XL versions, anyone use them?

Thanks,
Klammer

A friend had them on a Road King a few years ago, they were on it when he got it. I rode it a few times didn't like them he wasn't bothered enough to change them. I'm 6' 4" with size 12 boots stock boards are good for me but stock bagger seats sit me too far forward, I have a police saddle on my Road Glide, had a Corbin on my FLHT couldn't ride that 50 miles with the stock seat.

What didn't you like about them? I'm 5'11" size 11. I know what you mean about the stock seat, I use a Mustang solo & love it. I actually have always had forward pegs on all my other non bagger bikes (FXR, shovel) and always rode with my feet on them braking & shifting with my heel. I have thought about forward controls on my bagger but was hoping for a similar foot position with the banana boards as well as the flexability to move my left foot more from mid control point to forward. Have searched around on the web and a lot seem to love them and some not crazy about them. Vibration was one thing mentioned.

I didn't like the shape ( personal thing ) and I'm sure the stock boards isolate you from vibration better ,not that baggers suffer like an Evo Softail would.
