Problem continued. Couldn't get a nut to stay tight for more than 10 miles. Then, Parts  guy figured out the stock nut is a flange nut. Got one at Fastenal.  Putting it in over the weekend.

Sometimes nuts with dots are interference fit, they purposely mess up the nut so it is real hard to go on, like with plow bolts. Just might want to check it.
