I have a '92 softail that I want to put a 16" tire on. How hard is it and/or is it possible?

almost any wheel will go on any front end...
is the front end wide enuff?   if so its a matter of centering the wheel with te correct spacing and then most likey having to space over the rotor or even the caliper...some times an axle change is needed,,,,its not that hard to do..

You can lace a 16" wheel (with correct spokes) to your hub, or a dresser front wheel. I would not bother trying any narrow wheels as the end with the needed spacers looks like ____. You will have to get another fender. Have seen a 16" on a softail with a plain (no chrome dodahs) painted fender and it made the FLST look gaudy.

Vern, I had a 16 on my 90 Softail no issues, but yours looks like a directional front, if so the treads are going the wrong way, look on side of tire is arrow pointing in the rotation the bike would be going moving forward ? I didn't think so, you'll have issues in the rain as the water won't flow thru properly and premature wear may occur.
