Oil pump alignment procedure

I am assuming it is the same as TC's but want to check here first.  Also, are we shimming cam for sprocket alignment or for tolerance.  thx

may want to check how or the sequence and tq.   seems its not correct and a call to   HD is what may be needed to find out

Put a cam in the other day and the service manual called for torquing the plate but leave pump screws at 9-18 inch/lbs, rotate crank once then snug to spec.

go slow  on the torqueing.  keep it where you can rotate the rear wheel and see if you get binding or a very tight spot. leave chain off.
