The table only has RPM fields up to 3000 rpm.

My understanding is that these offsets only affect fields set at 14.6 (closed Loop mode)????

They affect fields above 3000 rpm in closed Loop mode?

Do they affect fields above 3000 rpm in open loop more (ie; AFR set at 13.5 for example)?

thanks, jb

wavlovr1:

To answer part of your questions review section 3.1 Understanding Tables on page 20 of the MasterTune Tuning Guide.

Yes the CLB will effect the closed loop everywhere it is set to 14.6 in the AFR table.......just because the CLB table only goes to 3000 rpm on your map it is learning cells that carry it through the complete closed loop area. Some map go up to 4500 rpm and 80kPa, some go to 3000rpm and up to 100kPa....why 100kPa..... good question since the closed loop is not active past 90kPa
Point being is this ...if you set your CLB voltage at 720 at hte 80kPa and 3000rpm that 720 will continue to be the setting in the higher rpm ranges.

Doc, if the clb is set at 720 throughout the 4000 rpm areas set at 14.6 closed loop, does it also impact the Open loop fields say in 4500-6000 areas...

Thanks, jb
