Rushmore tank on TC88

Just wondering if a Rushmore tank can be made to work on a TC88 RoadGlide. I have a six gallon tank from a Brothers wreck that has very little damage, if it's possible to change the fuel pump I would like to put it on my bike to get a little more range.

Anything is possible, but there is more to it than it first appears. I doubt the stock seat will fit, plus there would be other mods to the tank. It is far from a simple job.

The six gallon tanks first appeared on the '08 touring models that still had the earlier style frame.  Same tank fits '09 and later, but going backwards in time merits checking your frame carefully.

They removed the upper engine heim joint with the 6 gallon tank, so check clearances.  08 and newer pumps produce the same pressure and volume, same fitting on the check valve.
