With all this talk about M8 potential, I am curious...did the 17 trike frame change from the 14-16 Rushmore models?  In other words, would an M8 touring motor fit in a 14-16 trike frame?

'16 tri-glide front frame # is 83411-14BHP..........'17-'18 front frame part # is 47000089BHP. totally different, especially the motor mounts
build it, bust it.....figure out why

looking at the 2 schematics now......it seems the right side "end cap" is different, held on by the same 3 #4688 bolts.......the "tie link" brackets are different......but it almost seems if the M8 parts are used it should all bolt up.........i wish i could post pictures, but i don't know how anymore.

the stabilizer link # 16219-09 is the same betwixt the 2.......i can't see Harley redesigning the "wheel" if they didn't have to. the transmission cases are different.

Very likely much of the frame is the same with changes for the engine mounts.

A M8 will not "bolt in" to a TC frame with out a some modification.
I am an adult?? When did that happen, and how do I make it stop?!
