Mark, A discussion came up in a thread about using ATF in the primary.
http://harleytechtalk.com/htt/index.php?topic=102790.msg1214624#msg1214624
It was stated that Baker recommend using ATF and used this post as reference.

The discussion was if the seals in the Harley primary was designed for ATF use.
We know that all seals are not made of the same polymer, that the polymer is chosen for it resistance to certain chemicals and that seals designed for ATF have different requirement than that for motor oil.
So the question is does Baker recommend using ATF in the primary or do you still continue recommending this?
"BAKER recommends that Spectro Heavy Duty Primary Chaincase Oil or HD Formula+ Transmission
and Chaincase Lubricant (PN 99851-05) be used."
(from your  2007 compensating  kit.)

Someone is clearly pushing an agenda here. I never said Baker recommended ATF with their comp.... I said they (Mark) said it was fine.... no more, no less.

The usual twisting of words & taking things out of context.

Mark, my apologies for the misuse of your page.

Yes ATF will work, the important part in the primary is the clutch plates. so depending on the clutch you are using check with your clutch manufacturer and their recommendation.
