Well, I think it's fixed and I couldn't wait anymore so I took it for a short spin around the block. What a difference from the first ride several weeks ago. That new chain and the extra clearance made a big difference. The old chain was hitting a bolt that I didn't know was in the way, causing some very bad noises. She ran great this time and rode very nice. I'm actually impressed. Next is getting it inspected and then it's open road time. Yee haw. Thanks for all the help guys. I was getting to the point of putting it in a corner and covering her up. Not now.

I'm waiting for the painter, STILL, but I went today and he's got it pretty much done. I told him I had to have it for next saturday morning and he swears he'll be done. It's all I'm waiting for except of course, finding out if she's gonna run. She's not been started in almost 3 years. Maybe this week I'll get her outta the kitchen tin-less, and get her started...
