2000 FLSTC going to 124 thoughts on going to the new lighter balancers?

Getting ready to pull the trigger on a 124, have all the parts ready for the build but was wondering if I should go to the new style lighter balancers or stick with the originals?

How bout just removing them all-together? It works like a champ and eliminates a bit of reciprocating weight....I have had mine removed for 5 years and have never had any negative issues with it.
