G Day, just picked up a 2001 flhtcui, still have to get on to a owners manual. What is the procedure to get the cruise control to work, can anyone explain? cheers.

you have to turn on the toggle switch for cruise control to function. It is on the lower part of dash on the right side. You also have to be traveling more than 30 mph. The multi-direction switch is on the right handle bar grip assembly. Push the button straight in and that should activate the cruise at your current speed . pull the switch toward rear of bike you reduce the the set speed. Push the same switch forward and you increase the set speed.  The rear or front brake activation will turn off cruise control setting. So will pulling in the clutch and rolling the throttle closed.

If your speedo sensor is not operational, cruise control will not set because it thinks you are not going over 30 mph.
