May be sac religious but does anyone have any feedback on the Buell 1125 with the Rotax power plant? Thanks

thunderrat

I don't know much about the 1125's other than my buddy that worked at Buell said they handled great and made great power.......and the early ones did have some gremlins.  Check out Badweatherbikers 1125R forum at the following link.

Hopefully the link works, otherwise just google, badweatherbikers.............ted

Thanks I looked at the posts on there. I picked up the bike Sunday wow is it a runner!!

sweet.  Got any photos?

One4Tone

from what I hear it has 145 horsepower on a 385 pound bike. That power to weight ratio is astounding. I would love to try one out although I don't think I would want to open it right up...

I haven't had the time to ride it much since I picked it up but yes the thing is a beast!! Having an extended swing arm made as it will be my new drag bike

No sir it's not and mine is the CR model which has a bit lower gearing than the R easy 90-100 in 3rd. Redline is 10,500 gets there in a hurry. Only real problem I've read about is the charging system but it can be fixed . There are 1190 big bore kits available thinking about doing that!!
