I had to replace my front fender on a softail standard. The new front fender doesn't line up on the tire. the tire is off center of the fender. Do I have to bend the fender or what I'm I missing. Thanks for any help

If the tire is centered between the forks, a gentle push of the fender should line it up.

I agree. My factory stock fender did not line up directly over the center line of the tire. No one else noticed, but I did. Almost half an inch.

As long as the wheel is centered in the forks (as said above) a gentle push will straighten it out. It will bend/yield very easily.  I placed both palms on the fender, very close to the fork tube ( one on each side of the tube) and pushed it until it was where it should have been.  Easy and satisfying.
