my tranny started leakin last summer.....
but when you mix belts and oil you get this....

when I took out the old seal I found the side to side play on the MGD gear to be about .0035,
what I found was that .0004/.01254 over size bearings where a plug fit, I was about to put in the old bearings when I remembered that I had new  STD size/.1250,
so I measure new VS the old and the old were .0002 smaller/.1248
plus the gap at the top of the 44 bearings went from .023 down to .011....
and all my up/down was gone....
.0002 may not seam like a lot, but times that by 44 and it adds up .0088
now keep in mind that this is a circle so it gets kinda hard for me to explain were all of the .0088 went, but it spins free and I checked my old numbers that I had measured out before, and I know I check these bearings when I rebuilt it 20,000 miles ago and they were right at .1250...

kinda a mystery to me.......
