03 Heads

I own a set of 03 heads. They came of a 2003 Fatboy. The question that I have, is it possible to either have these heads worked on  and then install them on a 2008 Ultra or use them as a trade in for a set of heads that will fit a 2008 Ultra.

Don't you need that stabilizer bracket tied to the front head?

Yes it can be done and the heads can be machined for the bracket. Very good option IMO and a good way to get the torque values high when the right pipe and cams are used.

Don, what is the difference with the 03 heads to the 08 on my Ultra. What would be the best or the least evasive to do on this new bike. Hate to screw up a good thing

Can I make the 08 as good or better then the 03?
