Can you remap a FP3 with a phone other than the one that initialized it in the first place?  Thanks.

Yes, as long as the FP3 is connected to the original ECM it was married to.
You can also use an Ipad, I think. 
Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?

I have the app on 2 phones and my tablet.

Thanks for the help.   The initial problem was that my phone was too old and my new Ipad worked great.
