Manual compression releases for S&S 107?

I just bought a used 2004 Big Dog with an S&S 107" The rear electronic compression release does not work (no click when power is applied) Does anyone know if I can go to manual releases by removing the S&S electric release, buying the Alloy Art 14mm to 10mm adaptor and 10mm manual compression releases?

Those adapters are known to have issues. I would fix what needs replacement. S&S sell the parts. S&S also offer manually operated releases that go in the same holes
