What would be the practical installed height difference if 45827-84, OAL 20.875" tubes are used instead of 45890-97, OAL 20.25"? Just 0.625" longer, or is there other differences?  Like damper tube protrusion?

Most will Never know the Difference... I personal like Shorter because... even if Just in my Mind, it makes Low speed Handling Easier... BTW Damper Tubes should be Same same... and Function with the Lowers... not the Tubes..

The damper tube has also a new *-97 part no suffix for model year -97 up.

Thanks BTW 😊 I tend to agree with the "most will never know the difference".
