Rear wheel spacers on 2018 Heritage???

Does the orientation matter? There are grooves on one end of each spacer. The manual doesn't say. 2018 FLHCS.

I read on a thread some time ago, asking a similar question, that one responder said it makes no difference.  The only purpose of the grooves is to identify the correct part by assemblers at the factory.

Thanks. I figured it didn't make a difference since the SM said nothing about it. I asked on another forum and the only response i got said that he measured them and the are symmetrical. Thanks again
