Finally got a chance with no rain to put the new battery in Da Boot. Kicked her thru a few times to get some oil thru her. Key on, switches on and hit the button. Turns over great.

No attempt to start. Damn good spark on the front cylinder and a slightly weaker one on the rear. Gas is getting to the carb. Have not pulled the plugs yet. But she is also blowing oil  like mad out the crankcase breather (pointed straight out the back off to the side of the tire).

Sounds like it wet sumped,,oil has got by the check ball in the oil pump. This could be from a little piece of crap or a worn check ball..It could be as simple as removing the ball and cleaning out the seat and installing a new ball or maybe the seat will need to be lapped and new ball installed...My shovel before the stroker would sump if let to sit all winter,,,top up bag if needed, put a basin or something to catch excess oil and start...If giving you greive to start ,,pull breather ,,a shot of fuel down carb  and go. If you got spark it should fire at least for a minute ,,,,also good time to see if fuel is sprayin in carb (accellerator pump style)..

Possibly the plugs have oil fouled from the case flooding.  I'd pull them and kick out the oil then clean/replace them.

Well, well, well, the plugs were firing but also nasty as all heck. Pitch black. So I'll scrape some change together and get some new ones. Will also drain the S&S E and let it fill with fresh gas. Realized I had skipped that step when testing the plugs. Man, that gas getting blown out the plug holes was stanky! Worked in my little $500 car tho. *grin* Mixed with 1/2 a tank of regular and good gas tho.

Whoooo hooo!!!!!! Fire in the holes! She coughed, burped back thru the carb and then hit and ran ragged for me. But she is running.

Even put the arm on the landlord to let me fix a neighbors toilet to get some cash. Knew that working for Roto-Rooter for all that time had to be good for something. *grin* So hopefully I can buy some new plugs rather than clean up the nasty ones.

Also had my weekly run-in with the folks trying to "save my soul". This little town has 6 bars within walking distance and two church's. So needless to say we "need saving". The kid they sent this time caught me with nasty gas every where and a "Potty mouth" eating grin on my face as I put the battery charger back on Da Boot. Had to laugh and tell him, "I'm in my church right now." He grinned and walked off. His supervisor did not feel it was as funny tho.
