SERT "no interface with Module" message?

I got an new computer with Vista and now I can't get my SERT and computer to talk to each other.....I get the "no interface with Module" message

Ideas?

From everything I have read the SERT does not work with Vista 99% of the time.

I got v4.77 to work with Vista but went back to XP because of issues with other programs I needed to run.

try a different com port,mine does that when I chose the wrong com port,running vista and version 4.77

are you using a usb adaptor? I have a belkin and it works good for me,I guess there has been problems trying different adaptors,here is the one I use  http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=459431

No but I was going through a serial port.
As others have suggested if you are going through a USB to serial adapter use the Belkin one as it works the best.

The Belkin unit is working great...had to download the Vista driver from their website as it wasn't on the supplied disc
