06 Streetglide VS 09 front susp question

I am planning to do some powder coating on my front end on my 2006 Streetglide. I was also going to pull the Brembo calipers and matching rotors off a 2009 front end I bought. Was also considering converting to the double din inner fairing too, since it came with the front end.

Then I thought why not just service and put on the whole front from the '09, or at least the fork assembly.

Is there a benefit to the 09 front suspension over the '06?
