i need to replace cracked cases on stock 80 inch engine 3.500 bore. will 3 5/8 bore ultima cases work with 3.500 bore jugs? might want to go larger later on

They will work, but eventually you may develop oil weapage. I would use 80", quality metal base gaskets with 3 Bond sealer #1211, and "Pig Tails".
