Update: Downshifting Problems.

In dealing with my downshifting problems,  Lowrider S, now experienced false neutrals on the 1st to 2nd shift. Brought it to the dealer again, (3 months left on warranty) this time they acknowledged a problem. Tore into it, they will be replacing the shift cam assembly and the shifting forks. I'm not the only one. Recently found out about one here in Tn. and a friend in Texas, same problems. Glad they are taking care of it.

Only took 2 months, finally got it back today, shifting good. Not the dealers fault it took so long, mother ship kept sending the wrong shift drum, they were packaged wrong. Shift drum, all the shifting forks, output gear and some bearings & seals replaced.

Only if the government makes them.

That Sucks. If HD knows there a problem. Do yo know if it was sorted in later models. Or is a rare issue.

I'm not sure if it's sporadic or happens often. I know a guy in Texas had the same problem as I. He emailed me his warranty invoice and the same parts were replaced for both of us.
