           99 eg ultra pc3 efi had the bike dynod sat ran great went to start it thursday no spark tried a new plug grounded on the head no spark after turning it over for a couple of seconds the engine light comes back on and stays on bringing it back to dyno any ideas thanks gary

What DTC is it showing?

Not sure about sensors used with the mag-marelli efi but I believe the later models must sense compression to fire the plugs.  So they won't fire if your trying it without the plug in the head.

When you turn the key on do you hear the fuel pump run for a few secs?
If not, check the fuel pump fuel fuse.

         i brought the bike back to tuner today,, wont know whats wrong probably for a week ,you could here the fuel pump come on, and i dont know what code it was sending, it did send one the tuner said but i dont know what,       the spark plug checking not being in the bike i would like to know more on that subject  thanks everyone for the input gary , margarita time
