Going to change pistons and cams in my bike and thinking about boring my stock 88" cyls for them instead of using my BB cyls.Anything wrong with that?Like to keep the 95" kit w/cams complete when I take them out.
Bike is an 06 FXSTSI w/Stage II 95" BB w/203 cams.Have orig. 88" stuff.As always TIA       Coff 06

just make sure the shop does it correctly and also leave them the pistons so they can measure..

Great way to go and you will have nice round holes if done correctly.  Nothing like seasoned cylinders.

bore those 88's.having a good machine shop, with pistons in hand ,you will
get a better fit & a better build.

Thanks everyone for your input.I saw no reason not to,but wanted some advise. It's nice to be able to keep the BB kit together and not use those cyls,Thanks again      Coff 06
