Cam suggestions for 107 10.25-10.4:1

I have fresh cylinders and new pistons that I will be installing.
Looking for suggestions on what will work well with the rest of my components.
Looking for a good touring build with good low end torque and mid. Not to concerned with top end power.
Considering changing to a 30t drive pully as well.

2009 FLHTCU
New 107 cylinders with flat top pistons
undecided on head gasket. Leaning towards 0.03"

Current components
Revolution Performance stage 2 heads 1.9/1.6 valves
T-Man 590ps cams
S&S Lifters
Stock TB
5.3g/s injectors
S&S Stealth A/C
Stock headpipe with Rush Big Louie 2.25" baffles
Power Vision W/TT
S&S Cam Plate and oil Pump
Screamin Eagle VP clutch

Here are the CAMs I currently have in mind.

If you're liking the T-man cams, the 580 would work nicely at the compression ratio you specified. The 590 really likes a bit more...

Wood 777 would be great in a touring rig at that comp. One of better mid range cams and better low end than those 590's

I tuned a Rushmore with the 580PS2 cams bolted into a stock wet head 103, SS AC, Bassani RR2 exhaust. It went 113/103,  hitting 100# of torque about 2400RPM. Yours should be better, nearing 120 squared.
Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?

The compression is in the ball park for a TTS150, great cam lots of bottom end torque with good top end. :scratch:

So anyone have any information on the TTS-150? Intake close, lift, overlap, duration or LSA?

Another option is keep the 590ps you already have, go with the .030 for 10.5, and use different mufflers to get your low end torque back. Like cvo mufflers with 1.75 or 2.0 fullsac cores and sleeves, or supertrapp fat shots. A fatcat 2-1 would be better. I think the 580ps or 57h would work best out of the cams you listed, to help with over exhausting if you are sticking with the rush mufflers. With the top secret specs of the tts cams how can you decide if it's a good choice with the exhaust and head porting except taking someone else's word for it, have they used it with the same heads and pipe? I'm sure it's a great cam but there's more to it than that. Just my opinions, and how I think about stuff.

TTS doesn't publicly list their cam specs. I will say I have used them in a 117TC @ 10:1, and that bike made 114# @ 1500 RPM, peak numbers of 137# @ 2850RPM, &115HP @ 4900RPM. He's ridden it across the country a couple of times, and seems very happy...

The 590s are soft because you're not running them at the right compression.
Not sure why you don't just do 3cc domed pistons and .030 headgaskets. to run the 590s at 10.8.
I do 127/126 with them.108ft.lbs of torque at 2200rpm.

Any cam will have good low-end torque at the right compression.
I run a 30 tooth solid primary sprocket too and it takes a lot of motor to beat me off the line and light to light.
If you insist on wasting $$$ do the 580s.

Of the list.  I would pick the 580.  I have had good luck with the 150 as well, but using a cam I don't have specs for is just weird.  BUT IMO the difference of all these cams probably wont be seen to much in your concerned area without a better exhaust.  Assuming no cat in header.

Ran the tts150 in my 2014 117 trike at about 10.5 with a DD7 tranny and it would hop the front wheel in the first three gears. Float the front end in first anytime.
Gas mileage on a trike, not so good.

I've run the TTS 150 in several 117" engines. They work great, making extremely good torque. Checked my last 2 build sheets, and sent the heads out at 95 cc. Good power, and torque, with NO PMS. :up:

Don't think I would really consider the .570 on that bike. Been running it in gear drive for years on my 04 FXST Hippo 95 inch build and now on my 107 rebuild and love it at about 10:2 but bike is no windshield, no bags, solo seat 95% of the time. Needs to be spinning 3 pluse before it really starts to pull. Once it does it goes almost to redline but wouldn't recommend for bagger.

I only did the heads. I used stock ex valves, and 120R intake valves, in CVO 110" head castings.  :wink: The customers, did the assemblies.

get it to a smidge over 10.5-1 and use a Comp 3103

the tman 590 are great , i always like the woods tw8BG cams low overlap just a great cam quick closing they just are maybe a little noisy haha,

Hard to say without knowing cam specs. I wouldn't run any less than 200psi tho.
