Looking at a sharp 2019 114" police bike with 16,000 miles on it. Manufactured in 04/19. So I have heard about the oil pumps. Would it be a bike to avoid? Is it the luck of the draw with the sumping issue? This would be my first experience with an M8. Thanks in advance.

If you like the bike, worse case replacing an oil pump is easy!

According to TT466, the new pumps didn't start until 8/20/2019, in the last quarter of 2019 model production. There are two pump part numbers, one for water cooled and one for oil cooled models. You may find used ones, as some folks decided to use the S&S or Fueling pumps with their builds.
Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?

Thanks for that info. I passed on that bike and found a private party 2022 Electra glide Standard with 1,400 miles on it. Has the RDRS also. Glad I held off.
