There seems to be some variation as to what companies are using as the rocker arm ratio for the M8.

HD in their P&A catalog say that the SE cam specs are based on a theoretical rocker arm ratio of 1.65". S&S sells roller rocker arms and say they're a ratio of 1.64". Feuling says their cam specs are based on a rocker arm ratio of 1.61".

Not all that much different, but you would think that at least HD wouldn't use the word "theoretical" when speaking about rocker arm ratio.

Has anyone measured a stock rocker arm to see what the ratio ends up as?

Theoretical is an interesting word in a technical specification.
Variances due to manufacturing tolerances? Those would be some large tolerances.

yeah, I would have used the word "Nominal" and included a tolerance or just give a range of acceptable values.
