1997 FLHR switched power for GPS?

The aftermarket GPS gets power directly from battery by previous owner.

Although there is a fuse in the wire I would like to use a relay instead and would need to know what would be the best source for switched power?

There's a wiring diagram in your SM that shows where the switch wires go and ACC circuit.
