New set of S&S tappets with too much internal leakdown. Anyone else experienced this?
When you fill tappets out of engine, it is not much effort necessary to push down pushrod dish by hand.

Are you able to use vacuum to extract the air from the lifters, pulling oil in?

This is one of the best and simplest methods I've ever seen. This is how N-gin bleeds his before installation.

Love that vacuum trick. I tried that to remove moisture from a cell phone once. Used my A/C vacuum pump with the Ball jar. . Nope it didn't work.. lol

This is what I did, over 7 years ago now, lol. Replaces the light weight oil with 20w50 and removes the air.
