My friend sent me this video of his 2008 Ultra (96 CU) and asked what I thought the noise was. I told him it sounded like my bike when the lifters failed. Tell me what you guys think.

Video and audio appear to be in slow motion. Very difficult to tell anything from that clip.

depending on where you are in Michigan I might be close enough to be able to listen to it. I am near Plymouth.

Have the lifters ever been changed? If not, probably the culprit.

Easy Start cams and new lifters were installed within the last 2 years. I'm not sure what brand lifters were used.

Easy starts make a clicking noise when the bike is shut off, is he maybe hearing that?

This noise is while it's running. From what I can get from the video it reminds me of mine when a lifter went bad.

This was mine 8-1/2 years ago.

Does it have adjustable pushrods? If so, maybe one came loose. Easy to check before tearing apart to check lifters.
If the government gives you everything you want,
it can take everything you have.

Not a clicking noise, listen right around 0:22and then around 1:05 in the first post, more like a whirling sound.
