Have to remove the transmission on the Pan.
Can't seem to get the front pulley off.
The regular three leg pulley is too big.
The smaller one isn't tough enough.
It's just a straight pull but no luck.
We would like to get it off tomorrow.

Anyone have suggestions? Thanks!

Is this a threaded hole? And is there another across from it? If yes, just use a cross bar puller and two long bolts.

JamLazyAss

Yes there are two holes, but apparently a previous owner broke off the bolts as these is no thread visible. Either that or they were never tapped.

See if this Guy's Trick might help You out.
The Front Pulley Removal starts at about the 6-minute mark.

The trick in the video works pretty good. Once you get the center bolt of the puller tight, sometimes a quick whack on the end with a hammer will make the pulley pop off.

Any Luck with the Pulley?  Or is it still a Permanent Fixture?

^^^ This!

You don't even need a lot of pressure on the puller.  Put the center bolt (pressing on the end of the tapered shaft) under reasonable pressure, then hit the end with a hammer. POP! Off comes the pulley. I've never had this method fail.

Got it off with a modified 2 jaw pulley
