Have you ever installed Rocker Lockers without removing the Rocker Box ?

Any reason to not install Rocker Lockers one bolt at a time ?

I wouldn't. You need the rocker shaft able to rotate freely during the installation.

The shafts on mine were loose enough to line up, that's why the rocker lockers helped:)
While you're in there you might as well look for the exhaust pushrods possibly making contact with the inside of the pushrod tubes, that was the source of most of the noise on mine.

Also the lower rocker box can stay bolted to the head. You at most need to remove the rocker support.

You have to have everything loose enough so that the inserts can move things around as they go in... at that point you might as well remove the support plates & put the included new o-rings under the plates & do it right.

I couldn't use rocker lockers on S&S rocker covers the die cast ones, so i had the rocker shafts pinned, worked great so far, there was a shop that did that for you but been awhile.
