No Problem

did top end all new now the bottom end went 70,000 is this normal 97 e g 1340 couldnt find anthing but wear  bike sat for yrs

Pretty much. Fresh tight top end stresses the bottom end I did the same except it was a fresh top end on 105K bottom end. It ended up pushing a wrist pin out of the piston.

I don't know about an Evo but I have a twin cam and did a top end at 179000.  The bike now has 241000 and the bottom end seems fine.

Geeesh !  You now have double the miles I have on my 2001 FLHT.  Glad that 99' is holding up so well !
