WIX Says Don't Use Dented Filters

I don't think I've ever used a dented filter, or heard of this before. But I assume they wouldn't make the video unless it's happened before. YMMV.

Good to know.
Can't say I've ever installed a dented filter before but I've dented many taking them off because some gorilla installed it.

Oh shoot, thanks for posting this. When I did an oil change on my truck a few months back, I noticed my new Wix filter had a small dent in it. Against my better judgment I used it anyway. Won't do that again.

Its the continues frequency created by the pulses from the motor that causes it to fracture. A battle ship hull can be fractured with enough pressure and continues frequency.
