09 Softail Custom rake different from 08?

Has anybody noticed that the rake and trail on the 09 Softail Custom is different from the 08?  So is the wheelbase...

Lean angle (31/34), road clearance, and length are the same, though I gotta doubt the length number.  If they reduced the weheelbase by 2.5 inches, why wouldn't the length change, too?  These numbers come from H-D's brochure and website, by the way. 

I'm guessing they did it for two reasons:

1.  It would improve handling
2.  It puts the Custom's wheelbase smack in the middle between the Fat Boy (64.5) and the Rocker (69.2)

I was just wondering if you guys had heard about this change before.
