Summit Racing Piston Ring Squaring Tool

I posted this on the site about a year ago, but wanted to put it here as well.

There are several ways and several tools that can be used to square the piston rings in the bore to measure the piston ring end gap. I like this one because it's consistent with the depth if that's needed, and setting it to the bore size and aligning the piston ring takes only a minute.

The range this tool covers is 3.750" to 4.650". So Twin Cams are covered, as well as M8 even up to huge M8's.
