This puller is something that many will have similar to. I call it unique because it fits perfectly for pulling the cam gear from a Twin Cam with gear drive cams. I'm sure it would also work for M8 motors with gear drive. 

The short crossbar and the two fixed length threaded extensions allow you to snug up the puller to the gear without any play or wobbling. The gear will pull right off with ease.

How does it pull the gear off with the center bolt installed in the gear/cam assembly as shown?
'We' like this' - Said by the one man operation.

The image shown was to take a photo, I realize the washer is still there.

After the washer and bolt are out, I thread a socket head cap screw in, that allows the gear to pass over it.
