Hi all. I'd like to get anyone's opinion on the Feuling 525 Cam.
Suppose to to be about in cam swap, no change is needed in valve springs and such.
Has any tried this in an 88cu? How does it compare to the S &S 509 ?
Thanks in advance.

If you have an '05 or '06 you can run the 0.525 lift. I have no experience with those Feuling cams. But based on the cam specs I would think they are a little more mid range and upper end cams. The S&S 509 has increased power right off idle.

Fueling claims that you can use the .525 in the early TC motors without changing the valve springs. Maybe reach out to their tech department they were very helpful when I had questions about my build.

i put those same cams in my wifes bike . Its a 2004 fatboy 95 inch, stock heads , 9.4 to 1 comp , thunderheader . It made 95 hp 98 tq. Runs great right off idle. great cams for cruising around.

I loaded in the 543s that are specifically made for softails, great overall performance. Sweet long dwell and excellent flow and scavanging action. They also are listed as bolt in, no top end upgrade needed. Total lift says they clear but listen for the tick in building crank over! Also Harley valves are quite heavy and prone to float at high revs. Ask me how I know... hind site tells me at least beef up the springs with beehive or good aftermarket.
