I recently installed a six-row Jag oil cooler. I made a mistake by putting gasket compound on the gasket on the oil cooler adapter. When I tighten down the gasket it squished out. I wipe off the outside but I know there's some on the inside. When I cranked new motor over to get oil pressure on two cranks it jumped up to 35 lb. Makes me believe some of that gasket compound broke off and plugged somewhere. Has anybody ever experienced this problem. Thanks. I change lifters and cam plates. T3 cam plate. I believe it's plugged before the filter.

First thing I would try is remove the oil cooler adapter and check again. It eliminates any issues with that.

Yes I will take the oil cooler off and run oil filter only and see what happens. Thanks
