I have a bandit clutch and need new plates and steels , I see there are steels with slots in them is there a reason for this?

I run a belt drive so was going to get the Kevlar plates unless there is a better dry material

Thanks

I would have thought that the replacement plates and fibers would have to be purchased through Bandit Machine Works to work with their smaller hub. I never knew they had options on types of fibers or plates.

Are these slots you're asking about?

You cannot see attachments on this board.

Those are for thermal expansion. A call to Bandit would answer the material question.
Ignorance is bliss, and accuracy expensive. How much of either can you afford?
