Head Saver (Your Head)

This isn't really a tool, it's more a safety device. I can't be the only one that when using a motorcycle lift smashes your head into the clutch and brake levers when moving around the bike. I hit my forehead into the front brake lever the other day so hard I'm shocked it didn't go into my skull. It gave me a welt. And it only took me about 50 years of working on bikes to say enough. I even used to hit my head when working on the bike on the floor.

Anyway, two tennis balls with a slit cut in them saves the day, and your head. And you're not likely to forget them and leave them on as they really stick out.

Well now...You've got some balls.  Good Idea.
I bought a bunch of those Swimming Pool Noodles that Kids use in the Pool at Dollar General for about a buck a piece a few years ago.
Cut em' down to size, put a slit in them and cover the Controls and sometimes the Handlebars.
And whatever else that may give You a wake-up call.

I used to do that but too much extra work installing and removing all those tennis balls so now I just put one of these on my head .................

Good ideas. I tape about a foot of that high vis surveyors to the ends of the bars. Sometimes it's a tiny bit irritating like a fly around my head, but painless. I'll try the balls, I've got a lot of used ones from my wifes various handicap assists.

I used pieces of pool noodles

I just put up with hitting my head on them and swearing. Giving them the finger helps.
