am pretty sure mine is "done"
its not too bad rest of year....but since i am using the buell as my primary bike now,
in the desert....when its 105+ it blows some seriously hot air from the fan....
(nice peg position eric)
what are you guys doing to not get burnt?

kicking the old ironhead is a no fun deal....( i am officially old , 60) it stays parked most of year....
the glide is a bit heavy to throw around the canyon roads on a daily basis....

and the buell is really fun........well except for this little issue...

Hang that leg out a little farther into the wind   OR fab up a wind deflector/heat shield to go between the seat and frame where all the heat comes from, also A/C silver tape the underside of the seat, and a old welders glove cut up and stuffed in the crack works, There are also aftermarket shields made just for the heat problem. Fanheads forever.

American Sportbike offers a jet coating for the header pipes. At Special Ops Odies Blankets fit under the seat.

After break in, use full synthetic (Mobil is really good).

Use a shim to push out the right scoop a bit.

See about the latest reflash.

Check in at BadWeatherBikers for the Ulysses forum, great stuff.

the blanket does help some.  Get the bike tuned with ecm spy and the issue is solved. They run these at very lean afr add a pipe and all bets are off.

I have now installed the comfort kit on my recently acquired Uly.  I'm happy to report it works well.  Quite a reduction in heat and fan run time.  $103 from Surdyke HD, delivered.
