Stuck Pistons

Just bought a 1961 XLH.Got the trans out OK; heads off ;now cylinders stuck to pistons.Anyone run up on this?Thought about rose-bud to heat cyls.Have been soaking in kroil for a week.Bike sat outside for a year.Cases look great.Frame too.Good paper.Thanks Charlie

be patient they will free up.tapping on the pistons with a block of wood will set up vibration to help the oil get to the rings.try tapping from the bottom and the top.i like marvel mystery oil for this job.Salty

Automatic transmission fluid works well also.
