I need to know what the fork length is on a stock 883 L they bottom out and want to change them to stock sportster length,or different springs.what i have is a 8" spacer and 14"spring bike is a 2007

sounds like a lowering kit might have an extra spring under the damp rod, usually people lower with kits  the tubes stay the same the internals are changed to lower so you might have to dissassemble to find out what you have

I am getting ready to install a set of "RICOR INTIMINATORS"  in my wifes 07 883L, I have a set in my 06 V-ROD and the difference is night and day. they gave a smoother ride and greatly reduced the front end dive and I don't bottom out the front end anymore.
